What is a CSA?
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture): A way to support a local farm by purchasing a “share” of their harvest at the beginning of the growing season. You pay upfront (either all at once or through installments), and in return, you receive fresh, locally grown produce throughout the summer.
When you join a CSA, you’re helping farmers cover early-season costs like seeds and supplies, and you share in the harvest as crops come in.
Many of the farmers at the market offer CSAs with different share sizes, price points, and pickup options. Follow the link to find a CSA that fits your household and schedule!
Check out the CSA’s offered by Downtown Marquette Farmers Market Vendors. Not all CSAs Open at the same time so check back if one your interested in has not been opened for the current year.
